JKUAT Tech Expo is infinitely honoured to have Darshan Chandaria CEO & Director, Chandaria Industries as our Chief Guest in the seventh installation of the Tech Expo. Chandaria Industries is the largest tissue and hygiene products manufacturer and distributor of tissue & hygiene products in East & Central Africa. They are also the largest recyclers of paper waste in the same region. It goes without saying that Mr. Chandaria will bring on board a wealth of valuable experience and priceless insight onto this year's platform as we collaborate with different stakeholders towards changing lives through innovation.

Keynote Speaker

Bitange Ndemo

At the core of JKUAT Tech Expo's key priorities is to see students turning their ideas and projects into viable competitive business products. There's no better authority in the field than Professor Ndemo to the immediate former Permanent Secretary of Kenya's Ministry of Information and Communication having served from 2005 to 2013. During his tenure in government, he initiated many trans-formative projects including infrastructural and development programs, as well as marketing Kenya as a destination for Business Processing Outsourcing. Currently lecturing on entrepreneurship and research methods at the University of Nairobi's Business School, most of his research centers on the link between ICT and small and medium enterprises in Kenya.
